Most famously known as the patron saint of cancer, there is so much more than this to St. Peregrine's life story. As part of a rowdy and outspoken group of young people angry at the Church and government, as a young man, Peregrine injured a priest that was sent to keep the peace. When the priest's response was forgiveness and understanding, Peregrine experienced a change of heart.
